Community Training and Education
The Alliance for Children’s Rights provides training and education on current laws and regulations affecting low income children and families – both in our offices and in neighborhoods throughout the community. The Alliance has trained thousands of attorneys, judges, medical providers, foster families, group homes, parents, caregivers and youth on issues involving:
- adoption
- legal guardianship
- child abuse and neglect
- health care and medical consents
- sealing juvenile records
- special education
- discrimination
- public benefits, and
- matters related to system-wide reform
