Events With The Alliance
Events are a critical way for The Alliance to raise awareness about our work and raise funds necessary to maintain our programs. We have a variety of events throughout the year that give our supporters the chance to connect with each other, our board and staff and sometimes our clients. Annual Alliance Dinner

The Alliance’s Annual Dinner is held at the beautiful Beverly Hills Hotel and honors supporters and community members who go above and beyond to advance The Alliance’s mission and help children in need.
The RIGHT To LAUGH Comedy Benefit

Cheetos presents the RIGHT to LAUGH to benefit The Alliance for Children’s Rights is an evening of comedy featuring Drew Carey as our Master of Ceremonies, along with Jimmy Kimmel, Adam Carolla and Dana Gould. More of the funniest names in comedy are signing on everyday!

Each year City National Banks & other sponsors host a poker tournament to benefit The Alliance wtih prizes from the World Poker Tour. Past players include poker pro Annie Duke, Don Cheadle and James L. Brooks among others.

12th Annual Tennis for Tots

The annual Tennis for Tots round robin is sponsored by the Kaplan Stahler agency and honors the memory of David and Lynn Angell. Fun for the whole family, the tournament is held at the lovely & newly renovated Los Angeles Tennis Club with tennis and BBQ for all.
5th Annual Transitioning Youth Thanksgiving

Created by Angie Harmon and sponsored by the CA School of Culinary Arts and Albertsons, 50 youth who are aging out of foster care and their mentors cook and enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal together.
Adoption Days
National Adoption Day: Nov. 20, 2010
On five Friday afternoons each year the Children’s Court is devoted to finalizing foster care adoptions by Alliance pro bono attorneys. Volunteers help makes these days special for the families, culminating in November’s festive National Adoption Day Celebration.
